Wheat Imaging
1. Project
A local wheat grower was interested in seeing what the difference between their test plots and their overall field looked like from a vegetative index.
2. Result
The images taken by UA’s drone gave them an incredibly accurate and precise image of their test plots while also giving them an idea of what the extra pixel resolution can do for them on variable rate applications.
3. Deliverable
The client was able to see a huge change in imaging compared to what they were used to and used the data to help them understand what varieties they wanted to grow predominately.
